You can "press" your film which includes exposing the movie several stops quicker than it's advised ASA speed and then developing the film as if it were a faster film. This increases the contrast of the negative and can offer a nice rough effect particularly with black & white images.

Overall the film was all right. It had a variety of satisfying parts and a great collection of low and high. The issue that I had with this movie, however, was that it was too disconnected to be a good movie. There was limited dialogue, story film making holes and a general lack of cohesiveness to the plot and character interactions. I believe that it would have been a better film had the filmmaker focused more on informing the story and lesson the comic components which ended up being more of an interruption than an element of home entertainment.
What I didn't like about this film was that it relied too greatly on the animation and the music. The characters were not able to communicate the story on their own. This movie would have been better had the filmmakers invested a bit more time developing the story.
